February 15, 2011

WHAT SHOULD I WATCH TONIGHT?
ABC: No Ordinary Family, V, Detroit 1-8-7
CBS: NCIS, NCIS: LA, The Good Wife
CW:  One Tree Hill, Hellcats
FOX: Glee, Raising Hope, Traffic Light
NBC: The Biggest Loser: Couples, Parenthood

Controversial reality series Sister Wives will premiere a second season on TLC starting March 13, reports EW.  The series highlights the polygamy lifestyle of Kody Brown and his four wives and their combined 17 children. The first season of the series prompted an investigation of the family in Utah on felony bigamy charges.

FOX's Glee is the center of an agreement between Fox Television Stations and Twentieth Television over the broadcast syndication rights to the series.  Glee has cleared on the Fox Television Stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Houston, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Baltimore.  This new syndication deal with Fox Television Stations follows the previously announced cable syndication agreement with Oxygen and the additional program The Glee Project premiering this June on Oxygen.  Glee is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television.

Roseanne Barr is making a comeback to television in a new untitled docu-series for Lifetime Television.  The series, with 16 half-hours will follow Barr as she operates her 40-acre macadamia nut and live stock farm in Hawaii.  Premiering on Lifetime this year, the series is produced by 3 Ball Productions/Eyeworks USA and Full Moon & High Tide Productions.  Barr will serve as executive producer along with JD Roth, Todd A. Nelson, Brant Pinvidic and Steven Greener; Jake Pentland will also produce.

Casting Call: New Screen Entertainment, producers of the original Extreme Makeover series, are casting for a pilot and are seeking people in the Southern California area who have had their life ruined by plastic surgery procedures.  One out of four people are unhappy with their plastic surgery results and the "surgeon of last resort" on the show will try to correct damage done by previous plastic surgery.  Those interested should send an email to:  newscreenmedia@aol.com and include a description of their experience and include clear front and side photos of the affected areas and list any corrective surgeries.
