Reports are circulating another high-profile broadcast anchor may soon leave her post. Meredith Vieira is expected to exit her position as co-host of NBC's Today show when her contract expires later this year.  Vieira has served as co-host of Today since 2006 when she replaced Katie Couric.  Nothing official has been stated by either Vieira or NBC News.
Despite news about her pending departure from CBS News, the network said yesterday Katie Couric will lead its live coverage of Britain's Royal Wedding later this month on April 29. The Early Show co-anchor Erica Hill will also contribute reports from outside Buckingham Palace on the wedding day and later that night, Couric will host a one-hour primetime special titled The Royal Wedding: Modern Majesty. Couric will arrive in London and begin her reporting on April 27 while Hill will co-anchor The Early Show from London starting April 25.
