Philipinnes Prison Tribute to Michael Jackson

The Philippines' prison strikes again! When the former "Thriller" dancers (24.3 million YouTube hites) were informed of MJ's death, all 1,500 inmates at the Cebu Detention Center knew they had a mission to fulfill. Hitting the yard on Friday night, with the help of professional choreographer Gwendolyn Lador, the inmates rehearsed for nine hours straight, only taking breaks to eat or when it rained.

I can appreciate the artistry and dedication it must take these inmates to choreograph and coordinate such dance routines. Since the death of Michael Jackson is a global situation, it brings me no surprise that these jailhounds have successfully performed a routine in his honor. If I'm ever a prisoner, I wouldn't mind being in this particular prison. On the other hand, the fact that these guys can get together and WORK together so nicely - well, I wouldn't necessarily want to be a jail guard.

Anyway, enjoy.
