Sadly, after over 20 years on air, the PBS classic aired its last show this past Friday. Since its conception in 1983, LaVar Burton hosted the show, encouraging children of all ages to "take a look...it's in a book," and visually stimulated the imaginations of young tots -- by way of books.
Sigh...I wonder what he'll do now?!
