Kimpton’s EPIC Hotel in Miami and Area 31 restaurant are hosting an Ice Cream Social for guests and locals to enjoy scoops of ‘housemade’ ice cream for $3-$5 with all proceeds benefitting Dress for Success Miami, an organization devoted to helping disadvantaged women reenter the workforce. Exhale Spa will also be on hand providing complimentary mini-manicures in sorbet shades. EPIC’s Ice Cream Social is part of “Scoop for Success”, a Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants month-long celebration of ice cream benefiting Dress for Success.

In addition to the Ice Cream Social scheduled for July 15, ‘Scoop for Success’ will be going on at Area 31 throughout July during National Ice Cream month.  As part of ‘Scoop for Success’, Area 31 Executive Chef John Critchley has created two ice cream desserts, with $1 from each dessert sale donated to Dress for Success Miami throughout the entire month of July.  The two signature ice cream desserts developed exclusively for “Scoop for Success” are the Peach Bombe (Georgia peach sherbet with brown butter-almond ice cream, coffee butter crumbs and cinnamon cream), and The Melon (compressed melons, ras el hanout ice cream, mint ice cream and local honeycomb).
