If everyone needs to ace a driver’s written exam and physical driving test, perhaps there should be similar exercises for parents. No? Maybe you’ll think different after you read this:
Rachel Stieringer, 19, from (duh) Keystone Heights, Florida thought it would be funny to take a picture of her almost 1-year-old child playing with a bong THEN upload it to Facebook. Someone in Texas saw the photo and called an abuse hotline to report the “mom”, resulting in an arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Though the baby wasn’t hurt and drug tests came back negative, you still have to wonder about the outrageousness that this story presents. The mother defends herself by saying there’s “no bowl in the TABACCO pipe.” and “I took one pic to show someone and it was a mistake. I would never ever ever let him get high.”
The mother admits to a stupid lapse in judgment, stating that she would never do anything to hurt her child and blablablabla.
I JUST CANNOT WITH PEOPLE!!!
I only let my baby play with a tiny bowl I have. That bong is way too big for that child and I would be too scared of him breaking it.
ReplyDeleteI like how they've protected the baby's identity by pixelating his face. Because it's not like babies don't all look exactly alike** or anything.
ReplyDeleteParenthetically, someone should have Photoshopped out all those zits in the mug shot while they were a it.
**i.e., like Winston Churchill
