Casting Call: Here is a new twist in product placement, V1 Entertainment Films is auditioning advertisers and sponsors to feature prominently in its new NASCAR-themed television series, The Ride. The series is on tap as a spring 2011 network replacement series. Giancarlo Esposito (AMC's Breaking Bad) will direct the project and Tony Sommo is penning the script. The Ride is set in the Lake Norman area of North Carolina about a group of drivers, who are friends though they come from different backgrounds. The advertising sponsors will be considered important characters in the storyline. Aspen Hughes, CEO of V1 Entertainment Films is inviting brand managers and marketing executives of food, automotive and packaged goods companies in addition to advertising agencies to contact him in this rather unusual casting call. Selected advertisers will work directly with all top decision-makers on the show's production from the beginning. For more information about how your advertiser can audition for a part in The Ride, visit www.V1EntertainmentFilms.com .

Interested candidates must be comfortable on camera working from a prepared script as well as having the ability to think on their feet in asking follow-up questions to interviewees.
