Wow – Going to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year will be like going to a concert – with the most random group of performers.
Sadly, I no longer live in the center of Manhattan, where my apartment building donned a fabulous rooftop view of 34th Street. Meaning, I’ll have to watch the parade (pending probable hangover) from the comfort of my parents’ home. Yes, I’ll be up north for the holidays.
In any event, this year, celebrity performers for the event include Kanye West, Jessica Simpson, Gladys Knight and Arlo Guthrie. New balloons for the 84th annual parade include Kung-Fu Panda and the Kool-Aid man.
