In sad news today, Denise Borino-Quinn, mafia wife on “The Sopranos” has died at the young age of 46 after a long battle with liver cancer. Her husband passed away this past March.
Borino-Quinn had no acting experience when she was hired in 2000 to play Ginny Sacrimoni, the mafia wife with a weight problem. She attended the casting call to support a childhood friend and landed the role!
Support and prayers go out to the family of this Jersey-native.
