Did You Miss the Lunar Eclipse Last Night?

A view of the total eclipse of the moon, from Brooklyn.

At around 2:40am, the earth’s moon turned blood red for more than one hour.  This incredible celestial event hasn’t happened on the winter solstice since 1638 and won’t fall again on this day until 2094.  Truly amazing.
