The following story completely supports my theory that people in Oregon have little or nothing to do with their lives/time. I mean really – think about it – what is in Oregon?!
An Oregon man officially changed his name from Douglas Allen Smith Jr. to Captain Awesome last month, after being inspired by the nickname of the NBC television show “Chuck” – Dr. Devon “Captain Awesome” Woodcomb.
Initially, he was given a hard time by the judge, who questioned his seriousness. The judge finally granted the request, but made the former Mr. Smith swear he wasnt’ changing his name for fraudulent reasons.
