ABC announced the upcoming Wednesday series premiere dates of its new comedies Mr. Sunshine and Happy Endings. Mr. Sunshine, starring Matthew Perry and Allison Janney will open February 9 at 930p, taking the place of Cougar Town which returns to the lineup on April 13. Happy Endings, the new ensemble comedy helmed by Elisha Cuthbert will bow April 13 at 10p once the frosh drama Off the Map ends its run.

This Saturday, Neil Patrick Harris will host Spike TV's annual Video Game Awards which also includes appearances by a slew of celebrities such as Nathan Fillion, Nick Swardson, Denise Richards and cast members from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia among others. The awards show begins at 8p.
