A&E Network set the premiere date for its original scripted drama series, Breakout Kings for March 13 at 10p. The new action drama is about an unusual partnership between the US Marshals' office and a group of convicts as they work together to catch fugitives on the run.
Lifetime is launching several new reality series next month:
- One Born Every Minute, a one-hour series following expectant mothers in their final stage of pregnancy inside the maternity ward at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. The series premieres February 1.
- Seriously Funny Kids, the previously announced series hosted by Heidi Klum, debuts following One Born Every Minute on February 1.
- Quad Squad (wt) follows a set of identical quadruplet sisters during their last year of high school in Minnesota. It bows February 9.
- Glamour Belles is a workplace docu-series set inside a small town pageant gown shop in Union City, Tennessee. This series also premieres February 9.
AMC will premiere its original series The Killing on April 3 at 10p. The Killing, from writer/executive producer/showrunner, Veena Sud (Cold Case) is inspired by the Danish television series titled Forbrydelsen and relates the story of a murdered young girl in Seattle and the following police investigation. AMC is airing thirteen, one-hour episodes for the first season. The Killings is produced by Fox Television Studios and executive produced by Mikkel Bondesen for Fuse Entertainment.
