In case you guys don't read The Hollywood Reporter or talk to Lauryn Kahn herself, let me break this shit down for you.  Fair Lawn, NJ's very own Lauryn Kahn sold her movie script 'He's Fucking Perfect' to Fox 2000.  That's right.  Feel free to read that again.  If all goes according to plan, Will Ferrell and Adam McKay will be producing the movie under their company Gary Sanchez Productions. [Read: The movie will hopefully be coming in the future.  Me? I'm coming in my pants right now.]

So, how much did she sell it for? $1 million range.  Feel free to read that again.

THR reports that Kahn "emodies the out-of-nowhere, rags-to-riches dream: She has for the past several years acted as McKay's assistant at Gary Sanchez. The job allowed her to work on several shorts and she was able to hone her comedic touch." They go on to talk about the script saying, "He's Fucking Perfect is the story one woman, pessimistic in love, who regularly uses the Internet to research the men her friends are dating, acting as a vetting device for them to weed out losers. Things take a turn when she gets a friend to dump her new guy in order for the woman to steal the man for herself, using her social media savvy to turn herself into a perfect match."

Lauryn Kahn, one of my best friends - one of my brideZmaids - is truly a woman of a great fortitude, passion and wit. Voted Fair Lawn High School's Class of 2000's Best Sense of Humor superlative, she will surely remember October 19, 2011 as the day her life completely changed.  I'm incredibly proud and honored to know her and am thankful for our unconditional friendship.

Kahn moved from Fair Lawn, NJ to Hollywood, CA in 2005 soon after she graduated from Ithaca College in New York.  She is an absolute reality TV junkie and is a trendsetter rather than a follower.  She has a younger brother, Jared, who is an exceptional musician and is credited in a number of Lauryn's projects.
