The Vagina Monologies are currently recruiting for V Day Harlem 2012 (Sat. March 31, 2012). They are looking for woman to perform and read one of the monologues. If you are not familiar with V Day or what the movement is about, check out this film and website www.vday.org or http://vimeo.com/vday/what-is-vday.
The time commitment is this:
4 Rehearsals on Saturdays (one in Jan, one in Feb and two in March) 3pm-4:30 pm in Harlem
2 Shows on Saturday March 31, 2012 at the Schomburg Center for Black Research in Harlem
