Celebrities with the most expensive cars

Ah, to be a celebrity. They have the fame. They have beautiful homes all over the world. They make money every time they use the bathroom.  For us poor folk, a ginormous car loan would be necessary to get any of the below cars, but here's a list of celebrities with the most expensive ones:

Number 5: Jay Leno

Calling Jay Leno a car enthusiast is like calling Donald Trump an occasional real estate speculator. He comes in fifth place on this list with his Mercedes SLR McLaren. This European beauty is valued at $450,000.

Leno should remember to wax the car now and then; Mercedes ceased production in 2008 making this an increasingly rare automobile.

According to Jay himself, it can reach up to 200 milesper hour. Let’s hope he doesn’t use it on freeways in Burbank.

Number 4: Jerry Seinfeld 

Jerry Seinfeld’s Porsche 959 races in for the Number 4 spot.
This beauty costs a whopping $700,000. Despite that heavy price tag, this Porsche is only one of several such cars in Seinfeld’s renowned Porsche collection. While it is only one of dozens in his collection, the high six-figure price tag makes it the flagship. Seinfeld’s collection allegedly got so large that at one point he rented an airport hangar to store his four-wheeled treasures.

His Porsche 959 is one of only 337 that were ever built. Even though it’s certainly a pricey beauty, you won’t be seeing him driving it anytime soon. Porsche 959s do not pass US emission tests and aren’t legal to drive!

Number 3: Kanye West

Kanye West’s Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 takes the bronze for third place.
This $750,000 Italian monster was a gift from Kanye’s girlfriend Kim Kardashian. Originally it was a shiny black beauty, but Kanye, never one for subtlety, had it custom painted with a matte black finish with yellow calipers.

The car features an engine that gives it an impressive 700-horsepower and it can accelerate to a top speed of 217 miles per hour. It comes with a $3,700 gas-guzzle tax, but that shouldn’t be a problem for a multi-millionaire like Kanye.

Number 2: Simon Cowell

The King of Mean himself, Simon Cowell, rolls in at number two with his Bugatti Veyron.
This supercar is valued at $2 million and can reach a top speed of 268 miles per hour. While this car is certainly expensive, it is also popular among other celebrities.

Cowell can supposedly be seen driving the car around Los Angeles and Hollywood where he runs several popular television shows you might have heard of.

Number 1: Jay-Z

The crown of excess goes to Jay-Z and his $8 million Maybach Exelero. Jay-Z can certainly afford it. He’s sold over 50 million albums worldwide and has earned 14 Grammy Awards. I’m sure it helps having a wife with deep pockets like Beyonce. If their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, gets daddy’s taste in rides then Beyonce and Jay-Z better start saving for that pricey first car!

The Exelero can go from 0 to 60 in 4.4 seconds thanks to its twin 700 horsepower turbo V12 engine. It can reach a top speed of 218 miles per hour. The car isn’t just famous here in the US. It was featured on the German action television show, Cobra 11.
