Men cannot wear sneakers with dress pants

Here's a little tip for men: Do NOT wear sneakers with dress pants for your commute to work. Just don't do it. I have absolutely no idea why it's necessary, considering you don't wear heels. Are your flat Bostonians THAT painful? You're WALKING to the train, not riding a bike, so who please explain to me why you have to wear sneakers with your nice suit pants? It's completely unacceptable.

    Is it ok to wear sneakers on the way to work only to change after you get there? I mean, it was snowy today...

    i saw some guy on the train today with a denim jumpsuit on aka denim jeans and a denim jacket...nothing peeevees me more
