From Swine Flu to Designer Crew

Look, I didn't want to talk about the Swine Flu at all in my blog - mostly because I think everyone is crazy for being concerned. However, what I will highlight are the connections of the Swine Flu with creativity and humor. Yesterday, when I was coming out of the PATH station, I saw a women wearing a face mask. I mean, really? Are these now socially acceptable? Lady, you're in NJ. Drinking the water here could give you worse diarrhea than a slab of the Swine. In any event, I think that if we were ALL to wear them - obviously, by being the norm, many people would get really into it. Think about it - Fashion Designers could come up with their own lines of Face Masks. "Ver-Sace your Face." But really guys, these exist:
