A new site that I've been using for easy bill splitting is Bill Monk. Many people our age are living with roommates, and though paying bills can be as easy as splitting everything evenly, this is not always the case. But roommate situations is not the only time this tool will come in handy. I know that personally, for the past two years, there's never been a point in my life where I was NOT in a wedding party. For the purposes of figuring out who paid for what and how much is owed to whom - this site is great! There will also be times that roommates "got this," but then you can't remember how much and when and how much owe them -- I mean, the whole thing just gets complicated.
What's better, is that you can send them money online - so there are no ATM or check hassles. Additionally, you can add to the "bill" via text messages, so you don't need to be by a computer to jot things down.
