Did you ever notice that for the most part, alcohol is the only thing you ingest that comes with a story? It's like, "Who wants a shot of Patron??!!!!???" and the answer is usually, "Oh man, the last time I drank tequila, I ended up on my knees in front of a toilet with my head practically touching the bowl water."
That wouldn't happen with say, Russel Stover's chocolates. "Hey dude, want a chocolate?" "Um, are you KIDDING?? No way!! Last time I had one of those, I ended up with my pants around my ankles in a fountain at the mall! Man, I can't even go near the coconut-filled ones..."
that's because people don't admit to eating russel stover chocolates. they are not good. not good at all.
