I can't say it enough -- there's just WAY too much TV to watch these days. I'm always trying to catch up with my DVR and it's a battle that I'm forever losing. No longer are the days of cheesy sitcoms a la Saved By The Bell, Family Matters, Full House, etc. (Cheesy, but AWE-SOME)
Here's a sneak peak of what in the works at Comedy Central:
Tosh.0 - Features a look at popular and weird blogs, vlogs, videos and other craziness found on the web each week. This will premiere on June 4 at 10pm.
Secret Girlfriend - Each episode includes two back-to-back 11-minute mini-sodes about a guy who juggles multiple girlfriends trying to keep them a secret from each other. Yes, this is on TV. I can't even. This shitshow premieres October 14 at 10:30pm.
Midwest Teen Sex Show - Um, yea. Like.... A weekly comedy show explaining sex through a variety of sketches.
Other scrips that are currently in development (with working titles:)
Gypsy Cab - Animated show starring Judah Friedlander from 30 Rock. He's the dope one who always has a different trucker hat on. Fun Fact: He was also featured in Time Out NY's "Date These New Yorkers" in the city list. I emailed him for a date, and though we wrote back and forth a bit, that never panned out. True story. Anyway, he stars as a crazy cab driver who tries to out-do everyone around him, including trying to pick up celebrity cab fares from the likes of Sarah Silverman, John Mayer and more.
Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down - This is specifically for twentysomethings living in the city - literally a guide for various genres.
Best Buds - Stoner comedy where two best friends decide to follow the American dream in a new way.
Have you seen the new show Jersey Shore Unleashed - on the E Channel?????
