What's in a name? That which we call a rose ...

So I have this guy friend who is really great and single. He's older, wiser, funny and one of the pickiest men I've ever met. Granted, everyone SHOULD be picky, as whoever is lucky enough to be with you should be well worth it -- but he's just ridiculous.
I understand if you want to judge a girl on her body, her clothing, her job - hell, even what college she went to. But, when you start saying, "Nope, not interested...don't like her name," -- well then, I just don't know what else to say to you. Literally, every girl I bring to the table, he has a story for someone with that same name: "Oh, Dana?? No, I can't date Dana's"; "Rebecca? Holy crap, no way! I once went to sleepaway camp with a Rebecca and let me tell you ...."
I became friends with this guy from a blind date - and now, being good friends - we give each other the male and female perspective of situations when needed. In any event, I asked him what he thought about when he heard my name - I'm actually surprised he would date someone named "Zlata." His reaction: Zlata is at least fun bc you can be called so many variations like zz top, z train, z money. Thanks, fool.

Anyway, I truly hope that not all men think this way.
