ABSOLUT Boston!

Ask and ye shall receive!  ABSOLUT Vodka launched their third city-inspired flavor last week, ABSOLUT Boston.  Made with black tea and elderflower, the limited-edition vodka boasts a unique bottle design that serves as an homage to one of the city’s most iconic monuments and local sports fanaticism…I’ll let you guess what that is based on the bottle…has to do with a certain color left-field monster.

Now, as part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to the environment and to further the support the quality of life in and around Boston, ABSOLUT is donating $50,000 from the sales of ABSOLUT Boston to the Charles River Conservancy, a Boston area charity dedicated to the stewardship and renewal of the parklands along the urban riverbanks. In addition, Horizon Beverage Co. – who will exclusively distribute ABSOLUT Boston in Massachusetts – has graciously announced that it will donate all profits, approximately $30,000, from the Sale of ABSOLUT Boston to the charity as well.

So how did ABSOLUT launch ABSOLUT Boston?  Why, with a Wall of Pride, of course!  ABSOLUT created a free-standing ABSOLUT Wall of Pride to honor the spirit of Bostonians and their beloved city.  Boston’s most celebrated personalities, including Jim Rice, Joe Perry, Carlton Fisk, Drop Kick Murphys, Amy Poehler and G-Love and the Special Sauce memorialized their favorite Boston moment on the Wall of Pride, reflecting upon the very core of Boston’s legendary pride.

ABSOLUT^® BOSTON TEA PARTY MARTINI

3 parts ABSOLUT BOSTON

2 parts Lemon juice

1 part Simple Syrup

Shake ABSOLUT BOSTON, lemon Juice, and simple syrup with ice,

strain into a martini glass, garnish with a lemon twist.

ABSOLUT^® BOSTON HOMERUN

1 part ABSOLUT BOSTON

2 parts White grape juice

Top with Ginger Ale

Serve over ice in a highball glass.

ABSOLUT^® BOSTON MOJITO

1½ parts ABSOLUT BOSTON

¾ part Fresh lime juice

½ part simple syrup

4 Mint leaves

Top with soda water

In a shaker, muddle mint leaves with simple syrup and lime juice, add ABSOLUT BOSTON.

Shake and pour into highball glass, top with soda.
