TV TimeZ

Here's what's going on in TV Land:

Jon Gosselin issued a cease-and-desist order causing TLC to stop filming the Gosselin childen, reports the AP. TLC released a statement in association with this news saying they are "deeply disappointed at Jon's continued erratic behavior. He and the family were shooting as recently as last Friday without incident...Despite Jon Gosselin's repeated self-destructive and unprofessional actions, he remains under an exclusive contract with TLC." On this past Monday, TLC announced the reality series would become Kate Plus Eight and Jon Gosselin's involvement would be diminished. The cease-and-desist order was issued by Gosselin's lawyer the same day.

James Franco will guest star on the daytime soap. His role is a mystery man who comes to Port Charles starting November 20. This recurring role will continue for about two months.

The network has three new projects in development, cementing itself as my all-time favorite channel. Ever. Bethenny Frankel, Christian Siriano and Fabio Viviani will all receive their own docu-series based on their lives and careers.
