AnyClip is a handy new movie database site now in public beta that allows you to search for excerpted movie scenes by snatches of dialogue, actors, themes and other related keywords. The plan is to eventually add video clips to the database, but presently only the written dialogue is available in most instances. The site, which works by accessing extensive metadata on each movie, has indexed 2,000 features so far.

MTV's "A Thin Line" campaign, with support from Blue Shield of California Foundation, unveiled "Over the Line?" - a new online app to help young people draw their own "line" between digital use and digital addiction. Comedy Central cast Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz in the yet-to-be-titled comedy starring Jon Heder as a guy who won't let anything stand in the way of his dreams, even if it means losing his job and moving back home with his parents. Parnell and Sanz play his buddies, an ex-convict (Sanz) and a burned-out high school teacher (Parnell) who Heder's character enlists to help with his plans to save their hometown. The sitcom is from Gary Sanchez Productions, the production company headed by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Hency and distributed by Debmar-Mercury. This is also the company at which the ever-so-famous Fair Lawn High School Alumni Lauryn Kahn works.
