The Real Housewives of DC premieres August 5th at 9pm. Set your DVRs! I’m not sure I’m that interested in the DC housewives’ “politics”. I’m obviously going to watch it – but I really don’t want a lot of their drama to revolve around Barack Obama and who crashed whose party. Here’s a little briefing on the five chicas:
- Mary Schmidt Amons, a second generation Washingtonian and granddaughter of the legendary radio and TV personality Arthur Godfrey;
- Lynda Erkiletian, owner and founder of T.H.E. Artist Agency;
- Catherine Ommanney, known as Cat, this British wife and mom is married to a White House photographer and has formed many top social alliances in DC;
- Michaele Salahi, a model who you may known as "the White House party crasher"; and
- Stacie Scott Turner, a Harvard MBA holder with a successful real estate business and involved with DC's civic and philanthropic social life.
WHAT SHOULD I WATCH TONIGHT?
ABC: Happy Town
CBS: TV's Greatest Surprises: A Paley Center for Media Special, Rules of Engagement
FOX: So You Think You Can Dance
BRAVO: Top Chef premiere
NBC: America's Got Talent
