Talk about Amazing Grace!! Aretha Franklin says that she’s recovering from a fall and will miss two free concerts in Brooklyn, NY. Sadly, the Queen of Soul broke ribs and has abdominal pain from a fall she suffered on Sunday.
She WILL be rescheduling the concerts, so have no fear. Franklin was quoted saying, “very much looking forward to being in Brooklyn and having a foot-long hot dog at Coney Island.” Clearly, she hasn’t tried D and D Dawgs yet, but that’s okay … Fair Lawn, NJ isn’t ready for her anyway.
