George McMurrain, 57, called 911 twice to see if he could get a ride to the liquor store. Both times, the operator told George that 911 was only for emergencies. Apparently, for this obviously intoxicated man, this WAS an emergency.
After the third attempt, a police officer finally arrived at The Budget Inn in St. Augustine, Florida, where George was calling from, to address the situation. The police officer saw a small amount of marijuana in plain view when he was speaking to George and arrested him, charging with possession of marijuana, under 20 grams.
I mean, REALLY????
