As I reported on Monday, Greg Giraldo was hospitalized at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ after an apparent overdose.
Yesterday, on September 29th, Greg Giraldo passed away, five days after his overdose. According to a source, “Greg passed away today at the hospital in New Brunswick as a result of an accidental overdose. His family was by his side.”
This is all quite sad – and should just prove ONCE MORE that if you have a problem with drugs and/or alcohol, you MUST seek help! People around you LOVE you and it’s a tragedy to die a senseless death like this. This man had many things going for him, including being a judge on a successful TV Show, Last Comic Standing. He will be missed.
