There was much buzz surrounding the Mega Millions $355M Jackpot last night. Two lucky people, one in Idaho and another in Washington state, will be sharing the extremely large jackpot. Aces. The prize is the fourth-largest in the history of the US. So about $177M each … cool. Glad my family won.

In any event, for those who Americans who watched the series “LOST” probably found the numbers eerily familiar. Early on the show, viewers were introduced to a set of six numbers there were continuously repeated throughout the seasons: 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42. Eventually, we learn that those are the lottery numbers that character Hurley used to win millions in the lottery. In the show, Hurley used those numbers to win a “near-record” sum – just as last night’s amount was a near-record.
Why are you telling me this shit, Zlata?
Well, last night’s winning lottery numbers were 4, 8, 15, 25, 47 and 42. While not a perfect match, it has a very similar ring – especially in the first three numbers and the Mega Ball. Mega Millions said that anyone who played those “Lost” numbers would have won $150 per ticket.
If that shit ain’t creepy – I don’t know what is!
