NBC made a change in its primetime schedule opting to take Law & Order: Los Angeles (LOLA) off the lineup following the recent casting eliminations of series regulars Skeet Ulrich, Megan Boone and Regina Hall because of creative differences. As a result, NBC will keepParenthood in its current time slot of Tuesdays at 10p for the remainder of its sophomore season. For now, NBC has not set a return date for LOLA and the network will continue with its frosh drama Harry's Law without interruption.
Regis Philbin, long-time host of the daytime talk show, LIVE! with Regis and Kelly said on-air Tuesday he will soon retire saying this will be his last year on the show. Philbin has been with LIVE in its several versions for 28 years.
Showtime set the third season premiere of Nurse Jackie for March 28 at 10p followed by the third season bow of United States of Tara at 1030p. Showtime additionally scheduled the epic series debut of The Borgias starring Jeremy Irons as Rodrigo Borgia with a two-hour episode on April 3 at 9p. The Borgias will air in its regular time slot of 10p Sundays starting April 10.
Animal Planet brings back a second season of Fatal Attractions with a sneak preview airing on February 13 at 10p followed by weekly episodes beginning February 18 at 9p. The series, with five all-new episodes, depicts true stories of people who own deadly pets such as tigers, crocodiles and more. Fatal Attractions is produced by Oxford Scientific Films for Animal Planet.
HISTORY launches a second season of its competition series Top Shot on February 8 at 10p. Throughout 13 weeks, the new season will follow sixteen marksmen who strive for the $100,000 prize package and title of "Top Shot." Colby Donaldson continues as host of the series produced by Pilgrim Films & Television.
A&E Network changed its series premiere of Breakout Kings to March 6 at 10p. The action drama about the unconventional partnership between US Marshals and a group on convicts tracking down fugitives on the run is produced by Fox 21.
Investigation Discovery (ID) premieres the six-episode series, Stalked: Someone's Watching next Monday at 1030p. In recognition of January being National Stalking Awareness Month, ID serves up a series containing real stories and protection advice offered by Dr. Michelle Ward, a criminal psychologist and former stalking victim. The series is produced by Atlas Media Corporation.
