Discovery Communications rebrands its FitTV network to become Discovery Fit & Health launching February 1.  The revamped network will be available in an estimated 50 million homes on FitTV's channel location.  Programming on Discovery Fit & Health will consist of real-life dramas previously found on Discovery Health such as Dr. G: Medical Examiner and Untold Stories of the ER among others, as well as early morning fitness programs from FitTV.  The new Discovery Fit & Health will additionally develop new original programming and will acquire content from the US and international markets.  Other programming events will include Discovery Health franchises Baby Week, Psych Week, Adventures in Parenting and New Year, New You.
