June 1 - Free Donut Day at Dunkin' Donuts!

To honor National Donut Day tomorrow, June 1, Dunkin' Donuts restaurants nationwide will offer customers a free donut of their choice with the purchase of any beverage.

Dunkin' Donuts (DNKN) will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square tomorrow to celebrate. What's more is that for tomorrow only, it NASDAQ will unofficially change their name to "NASDDAQ", incorporating DD's iconic pink and orange D's (what-what public relations!) and change the "Q" to look like a donut. [America is fat.]

National Donut Day, held the first Friday of June each year was originally established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I. Dunkin' Donuts has led the donut category for more than 60 years, selling 5.3 million donuts and Munchkins® donut hole treats every day. Dunkin' Donuts restaurants throughout the United States offers more than 70 varieties of donuts, including beloved flavors such as Boston Kreme, Glazed and Chocolate Frosted.
