Fall Tea Recipes

There's just something about Fall that makes you think of snuggling up with a nice, hot cup of tea - right? 

Here are some great recipes to help jazz up that boring ol' cup!



BLACK TEA SANGRIA
6 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes     Chill Time: 2 hours   
1 cup unsweetened grape juice
1/4 cup orange juice
1 small orange, sliced
1 gala apple, cored and sliced
1 lime, sliced
TIP: For an adult version Sangria, use dry red wine instead of grape.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cardamom
Alcohol recommendation: combination of vodka and liqueur (like almond or coconut).
1/4 cup ginger simple syrup (recipe below)
Ice
1 cup Peach or Diet Peach Pure Leaf Iced Tea
Cold club soda
Candied ginger, for garnish
Fresh peach slice, for garnish
To make a cocktail: Add 1.5 ounces silver tequila before adding the tea.
1/2 cup fresh ginger, thinly sliced
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups water


2 bottles 100% Natural Lipton® Iced Tea with Lemon
Combine all ingredients in large pitcher. Chill at least 2 hours or until ready to serve.

ICED BERRY CHAI
5 servings
2 bottles 100% Natural Lipton® Iced Tea with Pomegranate Blueberry
Combine all ingredients with wire whisk in pitcher. Serve in ice-filled glasses.

PEACH-GINGER FIZZ 
1 serving
Pour ginger simple syrup into a highball glass over ice. Add Peach Pure Leaf Iced Tea and stir well. Top with a splash of club soda and garnish with a skewer of candied ginger and peach slice.

GINGER SIMPLE SYRUP
Makes 1 1/2 cups
In a saucepan, combine the ginger, sugar, and water and bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Remove the pan from the heat and then set aside to cool. Strain the syrup and refrigerate in an airtight container for up to one week.
