Personally, I feel extremely fortunate to have had parents who paid for my education. Of course, I helped out by being a Resident Advisor (insert scolding cap here) and thereby 'paid' for my own room and board. I know a lot of people who had and continue to have student loans to pay off. I can only hope that I can do for my children what my parents were able to do for me.
