Kids in grade school SUCK. When I have children, I'm going to make sure they aren't mean (like I was.) Just kidding - I don't think I was THAT mean, although Brianne constantly reminds me of some things I said and actions I did that should have probably gotten me expelled. In fact, when she jogs my memory, I really hate myself.
I recently watched an Intervention where the one documented has Type 1 Diabetes. Being an ex-girlfriend of someone who had this unfortunate disease, I learned a lot about it. In this particular episode, John not only has diabetes, but is also a big dork. Finally in HS he gets a girlfriend, but after 8 months, she dumps him and he starts his downward spiral of not caring what his blood sugar is, eating whatever he wants and not giving himself insulin. Clearly, all of these combined factors can be fatal.
Regardless, the stem of all this comes from children being mean to children. I was made of in 7th grade. In fact, it was my most horrific year. I think that when kids are given a hard time that early in life, their confidence level plummets and they're just doomed.
I really can talk about this for hours, but I'm just gonna end it right here.
American Idol tonight.
Bye.
You were nice to me in grade school and I only have nice memories of what you said :)
