Beginning April 19, TLC will feature a new "sweet" project called Cake Boss. The show follows Buddy Valastro, celebrity baker, and his family business, Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, NJ. Already abuzz amongst the local community, Carlo's Bakery creates elaborate confections for the likes of Britney Spears and many others. His collections are phenomenal!
I love him! He's on the Food Network challenges..I think he just won his first one. I swear I'm not a Food Network addict...
ReplyDeleteI was born in Hoboken and remember going there as a kid. We went to Fiores for good italian deli meat and then topped it off with the best sweets in town. Good luck and may you last another 99 years!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFor old times sake you should show pics of the original Carlos Bakery, it would bring back many wonderful memories. I'm talking about the 1970s. I would be a treat to see them and go back in time for a while.

ReplyDeleteI just was there yesterday...and the place was packed full of people!! Got some wonderful deserts!! My whole family enjoyed them!! Such a great show..a great family..a great place!!
