Omegle allows you to chat with complete strangers. Why would you want to do that? Well, sometimes you just need to vent, escape, be creepy, etc. At Omegle, you are automatically put into a chat room with another person. Though Anonymous chat is SOOO AOL circa 1995, it's clearly making a comeback, as this site becomes more and more popular.

ReplyDeleteI love Omegle and Chatroulette, but I wanted to be able to access those sites through my favorite chat software (iChat and Gmail).
So I wrote my own "chat with strangers" app. It works over Google Talk (if you have Gmail, you already have Google Talk), so you can use it with your favorite IM software.
