ABC Upfronts

Tonight at 8pm is the FINALE of American Idol. I'll be at a movie screening and will have to start the show late (don't worry, I altered my DVR.) Point being, I feel like I have to wear my IPod the whole way back to Hoboken -- and not read any newsfeeds in my blackberry. I really think it's going to be difficult to NOT find out the winner before I get home. I will try my darndest though.

Ok - let's get it on with the ABC Upfronts:
  • Eastwick - A new fall drama series features three women are drawn together when a mysterious man comes to town, unlocking each women's unique powers. It's based on Witches of Eastwick and stars Rebecca Romign, Lindsay Price and Jamie Ray Newman. I will not be watching this.
  • Flash Forward - series about a mysterious event that causes the world to black out and every human is granted a glimpse into the near future. Um, really? No.
  • The Forgotten - Crime series that centers on a team of loyal amateurs working on unidentified victims' cases. Into it.
  • Cougar Town - Comedy featuring Courteney Cox as a divorced single mother who rediscovers the world of dating in a young-centric world.
  • Hank - Kelsey Grammer comedy, where he stars as a business big shot who loses his job, has little money left and finds himself spending more time with his wife and kids. Borrrrrrrrrring
  • The Middle - Patricia Heaton is a wife and mother of a middle class family, living in the middle of Indiana. So, basically - it's the same thing as Everybody Loves Raymond, without Long Island and in-laws.
  • Modern Family - documentary-style, the series looks at several different versions of the modern family. Could be interesting.
  • The following shows will be coming back: Better Off Ted, Castle, Scrubs, True Beauty, America's Funniest Home Videos, The Bachelor, Brothers & Sisters, Dancing with the Stars, Desperate Housewives, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Private Practice, Supernanny, Ugly Betty, Wife Swap, 20/20 and Saturday Night College Football.
