Dirty Martini? Dirty Bastard!

The new hot spot in downtown Palm Beach Gardens is Dirty Martini. The terrace is air conditioned, the drinks are always icy and crystal chandeliers hang from the ceilings, complimenting the lit up bars. Located in the old Strip House restaurant space, the 8,600-square-foot venue can serve up to 400 dirty-minded guests intent on drinking and dancing.

The signature cocktail: Billed as dirtier than the bar’s James Bond, Frank Sinatra and George Clooney martinis, the Charlie Sheen Very Dirty Martini ($14) is garnished with blue cheese-stuffed olives.

Other noteworthy beverages: The popular Mint Palmer ($12) is a highly fragrant brew of sweet tea vodka and lemonade, and will be ordered again, soon. We also enjoyed the Snickerdoodle ($14), a scrumptious dessert beverage made with vodka, Kahlua, Frangelico and Amaretto.

Bar bites: Celebrated Kubo chef Roy Villacrusis is the culinary mind behind the menu of small plates and flatbreads, so it wasn’t surprising that the Tuna Tartare ($15) was out of this world. Also worth a taste: the Hamachi Sashimi ($16) and Cremini Mushroom Rockefeller ($9).

Deals: Happy hour is 4 to 8 p.m. daily and features specials on beer, house wines and premium liquors. All martinis are $7 during happy hour, and all food items that are regularly $10 or less are half-price. Ladies Night is Wednesday, when ladies drink free from 9 to 10 p.m., and receive $5 cocktails from 10 p.m. till close.

Hours: Open 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. daily. The kitchen is open until 2 a.m.

Info: Dirty Martini, 11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Ave. (across the street from the Cheesecake Factory in Downtown at the Gardens), Palm Beach Gardens; (561) 799-1115
