National Geographic Channel travels the country in search of amateur inventors, weekend scientists and engineers in the new half-hour series Mad Scientists.  Hosted by professional builder John Bowler, Mad Scientists opens with a dozen episodes on September 28 at 10p.

Season four of Kendra invites viewers to tune in starting September 25 at 11p on E!.  Kendra, husband Hank and baby Little Hank settle into their new Los Angeles home while Kendra begins writing her second book and the couple considers another baby.

Courtney Thorne-Smith rejoins CBS' Two and a Half Men reprising her role as Lyndsey McElroy, Alan's (Jon Cryer) love interest.

A partnership between Showtime, Steven Spielberg and Stephen King will develop a new drama series, Under the Dome based on King's 2009 novel of the same name.  The plot is set in a Maine town that is suddenly enveloped by a force field preventing the locals from reaching the outside world.

CASTING CALL: Hey Canada!!!

Canada's Rogers Media invites talented people to apply for the Citytv original series, Canada's Got Talent.  A nationwide search to find Canada's most talented performers is commencing in September.  Canada's Got Talent will premiere on Citytv in spring 2012.  Audition cities include: Winnipeg on September 9 and 10; Edmonton on September 14 and 15; Vancouver on September 19 and 20; Montreal on September 23 and 24; Toronto on September 27-30; and Halifax on October 11-12.  Participants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada to participate.  For complete list of rules, regulations and pre-registration forms, please visit
