TLC's newest hit series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo receives an order for additional episodes on the heels of the one-hour special episode to close out the first half of season one that was slated to run Wednesday night. In addition to the new episodes, TLC plans three holiday specials for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Since its August premiere, the show has averaged 2.3 million viewers.
Food Network plans the premiere of new series Health Inspectors for October 26 at 10:30p. Showcasing restaurant consultant Ben Vaughn, who lets restaurants at risk know what they should do to pass inspection, starting with a high-end Mexican food eatery in Chicago, and then a burrito shop in New Orleans.
