Electus and 5x5 Media are launching a seven-city US casting call for TNT'supcoming competition series The Hero hosted and executive produced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The producers are looking for competitors who have the physical, mental and emotional strength to participate in a battle of brains, brawn and morality. TNT ordered eight episodes and will roll out The Hero in summer 2013. The Hero casting calls will take place in Los Angeles on October 13; Boston, Dallas and Chicago on October 20; New York and Nashville on October 27; and Minneapolis on November 3.
